Om I-Life
I-Life is a non-profit, non-governmental, volunteer organization located in the city of Aalborg in North Denmark. We were established with the purpose to be run by students and for students only. Our mission is to allow the international and exchange students residing in Aalborg to experience Danish culture and explore Denmark as a country as much as they can while they are here. In order to fulfill this mission, we organize lots of events throughout the semester, such as:
- Danish Movie Nights - movie screenings of famous Danish movies with English subtitles
- The Amazing Race - a treasure hunt game where participants go around Aalborg and visit the most famous sights and learn new facts about the city by completing fun tasks
- Trips to famous places in Denmark - Skagen, Legoland, and Aarhus are some of the locations where we travel regularly, there is a trip every month and they are usually attended by 50 to 130 people
- Other occasional events, such as outdoor barbeques
All of our events are free of charge, only the trips require a fee. One of the principles of I-Life is to always maintain the price at a budget-friendly level as we want to make them easily accessible for international students.
I-Life is also a platform for international students to meet new people and socialize.
I-Life is run by volunteers and we are always open for accepting new ones to our team. No past experience is required. With I-Life you will get a chance to learn many valuable skills in the areas of event-planning, social media promotion, graphic design, event moderation, coordination and leadership skills, public speaking, etc.
